At age 56, Donald won the 60 m hurdles at the 2019 World Masters Athletics Indoor Championships in Toruń, Poland. Later that year in Jesolo, Italy, he became a triple European champion, winning the 100 m hurdles, 100 m sprint and 200 m sprint.
Since January 2022, Donald reports 167 bookings for live athletics commentary through July 2026. EMACI 2028 Ltd has appointed him Ambassador and Commentator for the 2028 European Masters Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow.
